hello. this summer i have done some brand new camps and some old camps. but they are all fun! i went to three camps plus baskitball. (wowy zowy!) thank you mama for driving   me evreywere! hear are the are the camps. all about kids, beachmot,sima,and baskitball.

o.k you think what is painted monkey art studio? it is a SUPER CUTE art studio! and you paint diffrent things. and for my freinds birthday party we went their and we painted picturer frames and miss pam did face and arm paintings. most of the girls got monkeys! it was super fun!

Me and my friend Sara hade a play date. we played the piano and we played dance school. we hade a great time. we hade diner and soon dessert.

Merry Christmas. I hope you have a great holiday.

Some of are traditions are:

• Go to my aunt’s house for Christmas eve.
• We wake up and we go downstairs and go to the back door and get our slippers on and we go out and go in the play house and find baby Jesus
• Eat cake with baby Jesus.
• Then we go to our stockings .
• Then we open gifts.
• And we stay in our pj’s.
• We act the Nativity out.

Thats some of wat we do.

MARYLAND SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND

I am Brooke. I am 8 years old. I went with my family and friends to the Maryland School for the Blind. It was amazing!

Most of their kids are not just blind. Some have to be in wheelchairs. The kids ride pretty cool bikes. I know what you are thinking-blind people can’t ride bikes. Yes, they can. Isn’t that cool?  It has a long handle on the front of it so if they want someone else to pull the bike they pull the handle on the font. They all have training wheels and something on the back to keep them from falling off.

The students go to gym and read brail books and play. They run races and wrestle. I know the boys would like that. They do art and math reading and lots of other things, too.

People from all over the world go there to be taught. They teach people from age 0 to 21. Some students live there and some students are driven there every day.

If you want to go on a tour, then just call them. I would love to go again.

Today i went to my new Dentist.

This is me getting my teeth brushed. it felt funny!

That was a fun dentist day!

Brooke is attending an arts camp at a local church, taking Singing, Drama and Balloon Sculpting/Face Painting.

Tuesday was Crazy Hair Day.

Wednesday was Wear the Word day. (Brooke decorated her brother’s t-shirt with Sharpie markers with Scripture and artwork.

Thursday was Dress Like Your Parents Day.

And Friday was Pajama Day. She is always up for some fun!!

Saturday is the ministry fair and Sunday they run most of the worship service. It has been an absolutely wonderful experience for Brooke. Thanks, Mel, for letting us know about it!
